Kid Connection is a school age care enrichment program provided by Farmington Community Education. Kid Connection is available to grades K-5 in each elementary school.Hours are 6am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, including most Non-School Days and some Holidays. Our professional Kid Connection staff provide quality care to ensure a safe and nurturing experience. Your child may participate in a range of activities including science, math, literacy and physical fitness activities. Computer lab time is available, as well as quiet time for reading and homework. Our in-school location provides excellent communication with building principals, teachers and support staff, helping us create the best environment possible for our children. Kid Connection participates in a Quality Matters Program offered through the University of Minnesota Extension.The Youth Program Quality Assessment measures the quality of youth experiences and promotes the creation of environments that tap the most important resource available to any youth-serving organization; a young person's motivation to attend and engage.
