District Literacy Plan
In 2011 the Minnesota legislature passed a law requiring all Minnesota school districts to formally adopt a Kindergarten to Grade Three Literacy Plan. The goals of the law is to have all children reading at or above grade level no later than the end of third grade.
The Detroit Lakes Board of Education approved the Literacy Plan on May 14, 2012. To view the plan click on the button below.
